Our Story
Born in 2012, WFR was created with the mission of simplifying operations, improving safety, and transforming the digital experience across many industries.
Starting from a small office on the outskirts of Porto, our team never limited its ambition and entrepreneurial spirit, crossing borders and having the courage to forge new paths.
Initially, all of our team's efforts were focused on information and security technologies. This effort led to the consolidation of our brand in this market, where we gained particular prominence in the fringe market of large industries and services.
In 2014, our entrepreneurial spirit led us to develop a product for a niche market: the control of sporting events. That's how WFR RaceTech was born. Today, these race control software and equipment are world market leaders, being used in competitions all over the world, from the United States to the distant Asian continent.
The arrival of the pandemic in 2020 brought us the challenge of ensuring that our clients could continue to reach their audiences. When close contact between people was not allowed, but event promoters and the business world needed solutions to keep their message reaching their audience and events going ahead, WFR launched its brand WFR Live TV (now WFR TV), which offered a solution for broadcasting and livestreaming corporate and sporting events. This solution quickly crossed borders, reaching the entire global market in 2021, where it plays a prominent and leading role.
